Kristina is excited to be a part of the Groms team as a Rehabilitation Assistant. Kristina works alongside our Physios, and other health care professionals, to help kids follow a strength and conditioning plan or reach more long-term goals.

She completed her Bachelor of Science in Biology at Ambrose University with specializations in Health Sciences and Kinesiology. Kristina has lots of experience with children in the Sea to Sky corridor having been a gymnastics coach, soccer referee, ski instructor, wakeboard/waterski instructor, and a Whistler Adaptive volunteer coach.

Growing up in Squamish Kristina has fallen in love with the outdoors sports community being a passionate thru-hiker, mountain biker, climber and trying any new sport that comes her way. As an athlete herself, Kristina loves providing people of all ages and abilities with the support they need to achieve their physical goals and get out enjoying the beautiful place we get to call home. One of her biggest passions is to introduce individuals with physical, mental or cognitive impairments to sport, recreation and therapeutic sport programming. She has been able to fulfill her passion with many volunteer opportunities and wishes to continue as a rehab assistant until furthering her educational goals of becoming a physical therapist herself!

Outside of the clinic Kristina likes to volunteer in the community and enjoy the mountains we live in. She volunteers for Young Life, Whistler Adaptive, and various mountain bike events in the community. If she's not in the community she is most likely found hiking, climbing, biking, or skiing in the Sea to Sky!
