Julia earned her Master of Physical Therapy from the University of British Columbia. Before becoming a physiotherapist, she spent nearly a decade as a professional biathlete, competing internationally as a member of Canada’s National and world cup World Cup teams. She even competed for Team Canada at the 2018 Olympic Winter Games! Her lifelong passion for sport and movement is reflected through in her clinical work, where she helps children reach their full potential—whatever their playground may look like.

Julia believes that physiotherapy should be fun and engaging. She combines evidence-based treatment with play to motivate and challenge children toward their individual goals. She has additional training in breastfeeding and latching support, therapeutic bike fitting for growing bodies, concussion management, and manual therapy.

Outside the clinic, Julia can be found mountain biking, skiing, or running in the mountains!
