Marie-Li has always been on the move, whether on a rugby field, on a trail, up a rock wall, or out skiing. Her love for movement naturally led her to complete the combined Bachelor’s and Master’s program in Physical Therapy at the University of Montreal, where she also played varsity rugby.
She discovered her passion for paediatric physio working with infants and toddlers at Sainte-Justine Hospital, a world-renowned mother-and-child center. She’s been hooked ever since. Marie-Li loves working with kids of all ages, from cheering on those first big milestones to helping young athletes get back in the game. She’s especially passionate about developmental milestones and gross motor skills (large-muscle movements, coordination and body awareness). She always turns therapy into fun and creative challenges, using an approach tailored to each child’s personality, needs, and sensory style. Expect games, laughs, and maybe a little bit of silliness!
Marie-Li also had the chance to work with Indigenous communities in Northern Quebec, which helped shape her flexible, open-minded, and family-centered approach.
Originally from Montreal, Quebec, Marie-Li is fluent in both French and English and is happy to support families in either language.
She can’t wait to see you and your kiddos, whether that’s in the clinic or out on the trails somewhere in the Sea to Sky Corridor!
Beyond her professional life, Marie-Li finds joy in exploring the mountains year-round, either on foot or on skis. She also enjoys board games and sharing good food with friends and family.
