Maria is a passionate and experienced paediatric physiotherapist who has been working with children since 2017. She completed her Physiotherapy degree at the University of Ulster in Ireland in 2012 and feels incredibly lucky to work in a career she truly loves.

Maria prides herself on being able to seamlessly switch between “fun mode” for kids and “physio mode” for parents. She delivers care that is thoughtful, individualized, and centred around each family’s unique needs and goals—supporting both typically developing and neurodivergent children.

She has completed additional training in concussion management, paediatric pelvic floor dysfunction, and bladder and bowel dysfunction, as well as CME (Cuevas Medek Exercises) Therapy.

Maria has experience working with children with a wide range of needs, including those with brain injuries, autism, ADHD, and Down Syndrome. She is especially skilled in treating babies, with a special interest in supporting early gross motor milestones, as well as conditions like plagiocephaly, torticollis and infant breastfeeding + latching support.

In 2023, Maria became a parent herself, an experience that has further deepened her empathy, insight, and connection with the families she works with. She loves helping kids build their gross motor skills in ways that are fun, functional, and accessible.

Outside of the clinic, Maria loves spending time outside with her husband and son and enjoys hiking, biking, writing poetry as well as enjoying a good cuppa tea! She also loves travelling back to Ireland to spend time with her family!
