Janali is stoked to be part of the Groms team! She attended Quest University for her Bachelor of Arts and Sciences with a focus on exercise physiology and sports psychology, and then completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy at Eastern Washington University. After starting her career in adult orthopedics, she decided to follow her passion to specialize in paediatric and pelvic floor physiotherapy.

Janali has extensive experience working with kids in a variety of settings. She was a youth swim coach for 10 years, and throughout her schooling she volunteered with adaptive sports organizations to help make outdoor recreation more accessible to people of all ability levels. She loves working with kids of all ages, with a special focus on helping all kids reach their athletic goals. She also loves working with infants and helping parents learn how to best support their kids' development and give them a great foundation for life. She is also certified in pelvic floor physiotherapy in children and adults. She has a special passion for pre- and post-natal care. She is excited to bring this experience to the Groms team to support both Groms AND MOMS.

In her practice, Janali uses a mix of skilled manual therapy and targeted exercise prescription to help her patients achieve their goals. She believes strongly in evidence-based treatment approaches, and creates personalized recovery plans for every patient. Most of all, Janali believes that physiotherapy should be fun, no matter your age!
