Physiotherapist

Jian graduated as a physiotherapist from Curtin University in Perth in 2012 working in both country and city health services in Australia. He completed his Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy masters degree in 2018. Jian has previously taught as a sessional academic as part of the undergraduate physiotherapy program at Curtin University.

Jian has worked in snow sports injury management in both Canada and Japan and is an avid snowboarder himself. Currently he is the Senior Physiotherapist for Canada Snowboard managing national slopestyle, halfpipe and big air teams. He also works for the Canadian Sports Institute with Canadian Winter Olympic athletes such as Ski Cross, Luge, Bobsled, Skeleton, Biathlon and Para Alpine Ski racing. In the summer he enjoys biking, hiking and exploring the amazing landscape that the Sea to Sky has to offer.

Outside the clinic Jian likes to spend his time hiking, biking and snowboarding in the mountains. He also loves to surf, and spend his down time chill with a book in hand.
